The aim of the research and development was to produce high-quality, new types of acidified diary products with special processes, equipment and materials (microalgae, micellar casein, natural colorings, natural sweeteners) at the facility in Szeged that are aligned with current health-conscious nutrition trends and have an outstanding physiological effect on our customers. With the help of these products, we would like to increase the range of products on the market, our customer satisfaction and our professional recognition.
We also aim to improve our operational productivity, increase our sales revenue, develop our professional knowledge and increase our active role in strengthening the innovation potential of the dairy sector. As a result of the development new products were created and the related technology and equipment were developed.
Our products developed within the framework of the research and development program:
Natural flavor yoghurt, drinking yoghurt and kefir with micellar casein; fruit yoghurt and fruity drinking yoghurt with stivia sucralose; algae yoghurts.
With the introduction of the newly developed, unique quality products that meet health-conscious nutrition requirements we expand the available scope of these products in Hungary. The positive consumer reception of the products may results in increasing the utilization rate of our production tools, retaining jobs and even increasing their number. The newly developed products can be sold not only in the Hungarian, but also in foreign markets, thus increasing the company's export revenue. The completed research and development program also creates opportunities to launch further developments in the industry.
The total cost of the project, started on July 02, 2012, is HUF 1,097 million, from which we financed filling machines, hygiene equipment and laboratory equipment, as well as laboratory tests, university cooperation services, material costs and labor costs.
The project was completed on July 30, 2014.
