"Complex technology development at SOLE-MiZo Zrt.'s Szeged facility completed"
At Sole - Mizo Zrt. the development of the innovative product and technology development, warehouse management and monitoring system was completed with the support of the HUF 845.43 million European Union financial support within the frame of the “GOP Market-Oriented Research and Development Activity Support”. The total cost of the application for funds is HUF 1.81 billion.
The aim of the development was to use special enzyme additives in the Szeged facility with innovative production technology to produce health-conscious, high nutrition, quality curd in microbiologically safe packaging and a yoghurt drink made from whey, gained as a side product of curd production, and to establish a warehouse management and monitoring system, related to the product.With the help of these products, we wish to increase the range of products in the market, the satisfaction of our consumers and our professional recognition.We also aim to improve our operational productivity, increase our sales revenue, develop our professional knowledge and increase our active role in strengthening the innovation potential of the dairy sector. As a result of the development, new products were created and we established the related technology and technical background.
Our products developed within the framework of the research and development program: curd and yoghurt whey drink produced with special enzyme additives.
With the launch of the newly developed products the range of products meeting high quality, health-conscious nutrition standards may expand in Hungary. The positive consumer reception of the products may results in increasing the utilization rate of our production tools, retaining jobs and even increasing their number. The newly developed products can be sold not only in the Hungarian, but also in foreign markets, thus increasing the company's export revenue. The completed research and development program also provides an opportunity to launch further developments in the diary sector.
The total cost of the project, which started on June 30, 2014 and was completed on June 30, 2015, was HUF 1,81 billion of which we financed the labor costs of the the development, purchased technological equipment, built a new warehouse to store and monitor the newly developed products and also purchased a new warehouse rack system and forklifts.
