
In the autumn of 2017 Hungast officially announced the Hungarian-Made Ingredients for Local Restaurants initiative, the HAMM program. The objective of the group is to purchase as much foodstuffs ingredients from Hungarian producers as possible. The program started with the participation of Gyermelyi Zrt. and Termelő és Kereskedelmi Zrt. but this year the number of participants increased to five with the joining of Szobi Italgyártó Kft., Detki Keksz Édesipari Kft. and Sole-Mizo Zrt.
According to the company, the new entrants are important Hungast suppliers, selling food to approximately 200,000 guests a day. The company provides its services in all counties and in Budapest, with 150 large kitchens and 1,100 serving places. Hungast Group covers almost the entire catering services area in Hungary, they are active in educational institutions, social and healthcare facilities and restaurants, too. Based on the agreement between our companies Hungast will buy fruit yoghurt, curd dessert, natural flavor yoghurt and kefir from Sole-Mizo Zrt.
